How it works

Add one or more photos and the editor retouches them automatically, then prepares a version for each social network. Check the previews, adjust anything you like and export them all as JPG files.

  • Auto enhance reads each photo's histogram to set black and white points, correct colour casts (gray-world white balance) and bring the exposure to a balanced mid-tone, with a touch of contrast and vibrance. Turn it off or lower its strength if you prefer a lighter touch.
  • Adjustments and styles: exposure, contrast, shadows, highlights, saturation, vibrance, temperature, sharpness and vignette, plus one-tap styles (Natural, Vivid, Warm, Cool, Soft and B&W). Settings apply to every photo; double-click a slider to reset it.
  • Smart crop looks for detail, colour and skin tones to keep the subject in frame. Drag the large preview to reframe, zoom with the slider or mouse wheel, or switch to a blurred background when a crop would cut too much — useful for Stories with horizontal photos.

Official image sizes

  • Instagram square post: 1080 × 1080 px (1:1)
  • Instagram portrait post: 1080 × 1350 px (4:5) — takes up the most space in the feed
  • Instagram Stories, Reels and TikTok: 1080 × 1920 px (9:16)
  • Facebook, LinkedIn and X link or post images: 1200 × 628 px (1.91:1)
  • YouTube thumbnail: 1280 × 720 px (16:9)

Everything happens in your browser: your photos are never uploaded. Editing is unlimited; the free plan exports 3 photos a day (with all their formats) and Pro is unlimited.

Example

One holiday photo, five networks

  1. 1Add a 4,032 × 3,024 phone photo — auto enhance lifts the shadows and removes the blue cast
  2. 2Smart crop centres the person for the square and 4:5 posts
  3. 3The 9:16 Story uses a blurred background, so nobody gets cut out
  4. 4Export: five JPGs named photo_ig-post_1080x1080.jpg, photo_story_1080x1920.jpg… in one ZIP

Ready-to-post images at the exact size each network expects.

Frequently asked questions

What size should an Instagram photo be?

1080 px wide. Use 1080 × 1350 px (4:5) for portrait posts, which show largest in the feed, 1080 × 1080 px for square posts and 1080 × 1920 px (9:16) for Stories and Reels.

Are my photos uploaded?

No. The retouching, cropping and JPG export run on your device, in the browser. Photos never leave it, and exporting removes metadata such as GPS location.

Why can't it open my iPhone photo?

Most browsers other than Safari can't read HEIC photos. Export them as JPG from the Photos app, or set Settings › Camera › Formats to “Most Compatible”.

How many photos can I export?

Editing and previewing are unlimited. The free plan exports 3 photos a day, each in all the formats you choose. Pro removes the limit.
