- JPG is the most compatible format for photos. It doesn't support transparency, so transparent areas are filled with the background color you choose.
- PNG is lossless and keeps transparency. Best for logos, screenshots and graphics.
- WebP is a modern format with smaller files than JPG and PNG, including transparency.
Frequently asked questions
How do I convert WebP to JPG?
Drop the WebP files here, choose JPG and click Convert. Each file downloads with the same name and a .jpg extension.
How do I convert PNG to JPG without a black background?
JPG has no transparency, so transparent pixels need a color. The converter fills them with white by default; pick any other background color in the settings.
Can I convert HEIC photos?
Most browsers can't open HEIC (the default iPhone format), so it isn't supported yet. On iPhone, set Camera → Formats → Most Compatible to take JPG photos, or share the photo as JPG.
Are animated GIFs supported?
Only the first frame of an animated GIF is converted.
